More Flower Pot Cards

Two more flower pot cards I made while adjusting the dimensions to fit it into a regular envelope.  I added a Mother's Day Greeting to one and I will try to get a different picture posted.

This is the one I decided on for my May workshops.  It uses Really Rust for the pot, Tangerine Tango ribbon and the Sanded background to rough up the pot a bit.  I also added Tangerine Tango and Blush Blossom die cut flowers, Kiwi Kiss leaves and a die cut Butterfly.  I wanted the embellishments to be fun so I added a Kraft corduroy brad, a halfback pearl from the Pretties Kit and a 3/4" circle punched form the Sweet Slumber Designer Series Paper.....Get if for FREE this month!!

Sanded background stamp
Big Shot with - Flower Layers w/ Leaf, Beautiful Butterflies dies, texture plates
Really Rust, Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss, Tangerine Tango and Blush Blossom card stock
Kraft Corduroy Brad, Pretties Kit, 3/4 circle punch

Here is the one I opted not to use.  I made the pot too big and I just wasn't happy with the middles of the flowers.

Flower Pot Card - For Mother's Day

These flower pot cards are so addicting to make and you can let your imagination run wild with all the flowers you could use!!  I am making these for Mother's Day this year and also in my May workshops.  Scroll down for my dimensions.

Here it is with the insert pulled out:

I used the Flock Together DSP on the front of the pot and wrapped Wide Certainly Celery ribbon around to keep it closed.  The flowers were made with my Big Shot, Cherry Blossom and Simple Flower Embosslits, and the Flower Layers w/ Leaf die.  I added some Fresh Favorites Buttons to the flower middles.

My dimensions are as follows:
Pot - 3 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 3 1/4 & 6 1/2
Fold like a V with a flap and use the scallop edge punch on the flap
Cut up the sides to make the pot shape.
Insert: 2 1/8 x 4 3/8 and 2 1/4 x 4 1/2
Remember, during May, you will receive a FREE pack of DSP or 12x12 textured with every three that you purchase.

Anyway, here it is!!  I used the So Saffron Poly Twill Ribbon around the whole thing and added a Library Clip to the side.  Now as always, who am I going to give this to??
