Stampin' On a Wood Sheet

The Wood Sheets are shown on page 158.  You get four sheets that measure 5 3/4 x 13 3/4 for only $9.95.  They can be cut with the Big Shot, a Paper Cutter or scissors.  I used my Top Note die and my Big Shot.

Balsatopnoteinspnature Wood

I also used the stamp set called Inspired by Nature.  The grass was inked up in Old Olive and stamped on the wood sheet.  I then used markers and a sponge dauber to add the colors to the Coneflower stamp.  The greeting is from Upsy Daisy.

I am really pleased with how this turned out and can see myself making a bunch more of these as they were very simple.

My Open House and a Swap Card

My HUGE Open House and Rubber Garage sale is today from 10 - 2 so if you are in Sheridan, Wyoming, stop by and see what's up!!!  I will have all my retired stamps and accessories for sale, a make & take project, ordering specials, a catalog scavenger hunt, door prizes and lots more fun!!!!

I have a few new projects to show you and I will do that later this week.  I will also be announcing the winner of the What's My Name Build-A-Bear contest.  Thanks to all who submitted names, it will be really hard to pick a winner.  I will be looking for a name that fits me as well as my little bear. :-)

Here is another swap card that my friend Kay received at convention.  I really love the colors in this card.  It uses the Falling Leaves stamp set and the Bright Blessings Jumbo Wheel.

The leaf was cut using the Leaves #2 die and the Big Shot machine with a little sponging around the edges for some definition.  In my haste to return the swaps to Kay, I did not make note of who stamped this card so I cannot give credit to the stamper.

Thanks for looking and have a GREAT day!!!

Cottage Wall DSP and Flower Fantasy Window Sheets

I wanted to use my new Flower Fantasy Window Sheets and knew that they would coordinate beautifully with our NEW Cottage Wall DSP.

FYIcottagewall Cottagewall

I actually have two pieces of window sheets on this card, the top is from the Flower Fantasy pack and the bottom is a plain window sheet.  I attached them to the card and my adhesive is under the ribbon.  The top window sheet has the flower and stem design printed directly on it, the paper underneath is from the Cottage Wall DSP pack and is used for the background.  They are all mounted on a piece of Textured Rich Razzleberry. On the bottom, I stamped an image from the Pocket Silhouettes stamp set in White StazOn as I noticed that this stamp was almost a perfect match for the white leaves printed on the window sheet.

I used a NEW stamp set called FYI for the greeting and it is punched out using the Modern Label Punch layered on a Large Oval and then layered again on a Wide Oval punched out of the Olive polka dot print in The Write Stuff DSP pack.

Sorry about the bad photo, I must have taken 10 shots of this card and couldn't get rid of the glare. :-)

The Sound of Silence.....

That is what I heard for a while last night while I was trying to get my upcoming class schedule finalized for my HUGE Open House and Stampin' Garage Sale this weekend.

As we all know, when the kiddos are quiet, something is going on.  Well something was going on downstairs but it was too quiet and I was too focused on my work to hear anything!!!

What is all over your face!!  My acrylic paints.  My darling daughter painted my son's face with acrylic paints.  This is a shot of him just before I threw him in the tub so he could go to bed.  The artwork is wonderful but I would rather have seen it on paper. :-)  Check out my Decor Elements Growth Chart behind him.  You can order this through September 30th.  Click HERE to order.

My dear friend Kay let me borrow her convention swaps.  I photographed a few of my favorites and I will be posting some over the next few days for you.  Unfortunately, I forgot to make note of who stamped these so I am unable to credit the stamper.

This one uses the Elegant Bouquet Embossing Folder for the Big Shot and the Matchbox Messages stamp set.  I love the simplicity of this.  The colors are Rich Razzleberry and Soft Suede.

Thanks for looking!!

What's My Name? - Blog Candy Contest

My dear friend and downline Kay got this Build-A-Bear for me at convention since I was unable to attend.  I love her and she will become my mascot in my new stamping room!!

Coming September 1st, you will be able to order the NEW Build-A-Bear Workshop Exclusive Stampin' Up! dies for your Big Shot.  My daughter has gone nuts for these die cuts and so have her friends.  I will post some pictures of these paper bears soon.

The Holiday Mini Catalog is comig September 1st and if you are a customer of mine, I paid Stampin' Up! to mail one to you.  Look for it next week.  Not a customer yet, email me and I would be happy to send you a FREE copy.

Back to my bear, I have a problem, she doesn't have a name.  My daughter wants me to name her stamper, however, I know of another animal named stamper and he would not appreciate that very much!!

I need a cute and fun stamping name for this girl and I need your help to do it.  Leave a comment on this post with a name for my bear and I will give a prize to the the person who comes up with the name that I feel suits my bear best.

Tell your friends and family as everyone will have a chance to win!!

I will take comments through Friday night and announce the winner this weekend.

Thanks for helping me name my new stuffed friend. :-)

They came!!

Since I was unable to attend the annual Stampin' Up! Convention this year, I wasn't able to pick up my awards.  I was awarded the #25 spot in the Demonstrator of the Year Category and #8 in Sales.  Along with a cash award, I also received these gifts.

A beautifully wrapped box from Burberry for my sales placement and my Founder's Circle bag!!

This is what was in the box.  A silk stole!!  It is super soft and this picture does not do it justice.

Here is a close up of the detail on the bag.  It is from a design in our Cottage Wall Designer Series paper.

I am so excited to attend the Founder's Circle Retreat next month.  A HUGE thank you to all my customer friends who helped me achieve these honors.

As a thank you, I would like to offer you a 10% discount on all your purchases through Tuesday, August 18th, 2009.  Email or phone your orders to  me and I will give you your total.  You must pay with a credit/debit card or a check if you are local to me.

Who wouldn't want to stand in front of this and get measured!!

Thanks for looking, have a GREAT weekend!!
