Prizes - Glassine Bags with Ribbon

These little Glassine Bags are filled with ribbon.  They are in the Occasions Mini Catalog and are only available through April 30th.  They make the cutest little gifts.  See what else I did with these bags HERE and HERE

I stamped on them using the With All My Heart stamp set that is also in the Occasions Mini Catalog.  I used the retiring Green Galore, and Crushed Curry Classic Pads and one of our returning In Colors, Melon Mambo.  The ink does take a bit of time dry on these bags so I used my Heat Tool to speed up the process.

Glassineribbonbags

Tissueflowerpink The little tissue flowers were done with the Extra Large Fancy Flower Punch.  I punched eight of them in each color and layered them together, off setting each one a bit.  When I had them all layered, I poked a hole in the middle with the Piercing Tool and added a decorative brad to the center.  Then you take each layer and scrunch it up around the brad so they look like this!

Tissueflowergreen

Aren't they just the neatest things!!  We made these at a recent Technique Geeks class and they were a HUGE hit. :-)

Easter Treat to share!

Happy Easter to all of you who celebrate this meaningful holiday!!

I found some colorful Whitman's Marshmallow Eggs and thought they would make nice gifts for a few friend, however, they needed a package. :-)  I took some mesurements of the egg and decided that I needed a box about 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 and 1" deep.

Here it is!!

Eggcoutrementseggboxclosed

I used a piece from the Shades of Spring Designer Series Paper for the top and added a Scallop Trim Border.  The tag is from Eggcoutrements and was stamped in Certainly Celery.  I added some bling from the Eggcellent Eggs Kit and wrapped it with some of our yummy Pretty in Pink Satin Ribbon.

Here is a view of the yummy egg laying on a bed of "grass".  I ran some strips of Certainly Celery through my Crimper and cut it into skinny strips.

Eggcoutrementseggboxopen
Here is my template, it measures 8 x 5 1/2.  With the long side at the top of my Paper Cutter, I scored at 1, 3 1/2, 4 1/2 and 7. Rotate it so that the short side is at the top of the Cutter and score at 1 and 4 1/2.  Fold on all score lines then cut all the score lines in 1" on the long side.  Remove the center square on both sides.  Apply adhesive and fold up.  Easy Peasy!!
