Simple Daisy cards. Aren't these cards so lovely. They were a make & take a while back and the gals who made them really loved them.
These are shamelessly CASE'd from my dear friend Dawn Olchefske. I just love the clean simple look to these cards and they were very easy to make. I used the Big Shot and the Flower Daisies Die to make the flowers and the Designer Series Paper is from the ever popular Sweet Pea Stack, today is the last day that you will be able to get this paper so place your online orders today!!! The greeting is from Full of Life #111500 and is stamped in Basic Gray. I used an assortment of Corduroy Buttons and brads for the flower middles.
I have a bathroom off my Stampin' Studio that the gals use when they are here and I thought the shower needed a little somethin' somethin' to jazz it up. I had a few sets of these Flower Garden Decor Elements #116057 and knew they would look so cute in here. I put one set on each panel of the shower and am just thrilled with how it turned out!!
Here is the close up:
Aren't these colors so bright and cheery. This just makes me smile whenever I go in there. You can order your sets of these Flower Garden Decor Elements .
Here is a fitting card for a post right now. Cheers to you and to me too! Hopefully, I am laying on the beach in St. Lucia with one of these in my hand right now. :-) This card uses the Scallop Trim Corner Punch from the Occasions Mini Catalog. This card was sort of an accident. It started out as a CASE of one I saw a few months ago but then I couldn't remember exactly how it went together so this is what I came up with.
I am using one of our retiring colors called Green Galore with Basic Black and a couple of my favorite stamp sets, Cheers to You and Tart & Tangy. I used the 1 3/4 Circle Punch and the 2" Circle from the Circles #2 Bigz die and my Big Shot to layer the beverage. I added Crystal Effects on the drink and lime but it doesn't show up in the photo.
Thanks for lookin' I hope you have a terrific day!!!!
Did you know that you can use the Big Shot Baskets & Blooms Bigz XL die to create coffee cup cozy's? Well you can and it is super easy!!!
I used a couple different colors of felt and some pieces from the Sweet Pea Stitched Felt package. The Sweet Pea Stitched Felt is only available through April 30th so order yours today!!
Catherine Cote shared this last month. You use the Baskets & Blooms Bigz XL die and your Big Shot machine. Cut three basket pieces and pin them together. Cut off the handles and sew along the top and bottom.
Wrap it around your cup and pin the ends together. Sew up the back seam and decorate, this is just way too easy!! I recommend using a High Temp Glue Gun to attach the die cut felt pieces.

Here is a card using the Dot, Dot, Dot and Butterfly Accent single stamps on pages 42-43 of the Occasions Mini Catalog that ends on April 30th. The Butterfly Accent stamp is a teeny bit larger than one of the butterflies on the Beautiful Butterflies Big Shot Bigz die.
I used Bermuda Bay, So Saffron, Certainly Celery and Melon Mambo on this card. The Elegant Bouquet Impressions Folder #115964 was used with my Big Shot to create the raised image on the card base. I used my 1/2 Circle Punch and the Antique Brass Build-A-Brads to create the accent piece.
Catchy title don't cha think. :-) I have been playing with the Emboss Resist technique for a while now and it never gets old!! I had a GREAT time using Vintage Vogue with this technique (click HERE to see that) and thought the Messages For Mom stamp set would work great for it as well.
I stamped the flower image in Rose Red Classic Ink, stamped the Mom image in Versamark and heat set it with clear embossing powder. I added the Pretty in Pink Classic Ink with a Sponge Dauber. The Pretty in Pink Satin Ribbon is an elegant addition with the Rose Red Button from the Fresh Favorites II Colored Buttons pack #107422
My son has a wonderful student teacher in his room this year and she is leaving next week. I love to give these name frames as gifts especially to teachers. :-) I hope she likes it!! I have done a few more and you can find them HERE, HERE and HERE
Here are some close-ups of the butterfly and flower.
I used the soon to leave us Shades of Spring Designer Series Paper from the Occasions Mini Catalog with my Big Shot of course!! I used the following dies, Beautiful Butterflies, Blossom Party, and the Serif Essentials Alphabet. My card stock colors are Certainly Celery, Pretty in Pink and Barely Banana. I used a variety of embellishments as well, Pretty in Pink Corduroy Buttons, Ice Circle Rhinestone Brads, Pretty in Pink Epoxy Brads and the Soft Subtles Brads.
These are so easy to make and inexpensive too. :-)
Our current In Colors Bermuda Bay, Dusty Durango and Crushed Curry will not be returning to the Color line up in July and neither will the ribbons in those colors. I am offering a share so you stock up on these beautiful Polka Dot Ribbons. I will take orders for the ribbon through May 2nd and then order it. You should receive your shares mid May.
Do you have a birthday coming up? Does a friend or family member? Mother's Day is coming, does your mom like to stamp? I have gift certificates in any denomination and for any occasion and they always come in a cute holder. :-)
These use the retiring Cameo Coral card stock and Classic Ink with the Pink Flamingo Designer Series Papers. I have some other gift certificates that you can see HERE
I also used the Extra Large Fancy Flower Punch and the With All My Heart stamp set. Both of these items are available through April 30th in the Occasions Mini Catalog.
These little Glassine Bags are filled with ribbon. They are in the Occasions Mini Catalog and are only available through April 30th. They make the cutest little gifts. See what else I did with these bags HERE and HERE.
I stamped on them using the With All My Heart stamp set that is also in the Occasions Mini Catalog. I used the retiring Green Galore, and Crushed Curry Classic Pads and one of our returning In Colors, Melon Mambo. The ink does take a bit of time dry on these bags so I used my Heat Tool to speed up the process.
The little tissue flowers were done with the Extra Large Fancy Flower Punch. I punched eight of them in each color and layered them together, off setting each one a bit. When I had them all layered, I poked a hole in the middle with the Piercing Tool and added a decorative brad to the center. Then you take each layer and scrunch it up around the brad so they look like this!
Aren't they just the neatest things!! We made these at a recent Technique Geeks class and they were a HUGE hit. :-)
Another of my workshop cards this month. I used the Awash with Flowers set with some of our retiring colors. I got the color combination off the Color Coach. What a great springy combination!! Order your Color Coach (105796) today as it will be retiring in June.
The Awash with Flowers set is available through the end of April and then you will have to wait until July to purchase it.
Awash with Flowers (wood-mount)
Awash with Flowers (clear-mount)
The Top Note was cut out of Whisper White and we used the retiring Apricot Appeal and Lavender Lace card stock and the retiring Cameo Coral, Lavender Lace and Gable Green Classic Ink Pads. Add a couple of brads and you have a super quick card.
After completing my sample card, I really needed to simplify the process for a make and take as I didn't have doubles of all the clear blocks. This is what I came up with. It is a no brainer.....you can put multiple stamps on one block!!!!!
I put my three line art images on Block D and then stamped it three times in Chocolate Chip. The bold images went on Blocks A, B and C so I had enough blocks and the stamping went really quickly. :-) Another great feature of our Clear Mount Stamps, I will definitely be doing this again!
