I made this Diorama Card using the Create a Cupcake set and I really like how it turned out.  I posted one last week during the Freaks tour and promised to get a tutorial together for you.

These cards are really fun to make and even more fun to receive.  They fold flat for mailing in one of our Small Open End Envelopes. 

I used the Ice Cream Parlor Ribbon and Button Pack to choose my colors.  You can choose this FREE with any $50 order in my Online Store.  Have fun making Diorama Cards I woulld love to see what you come up with.

This Petal Cone die from the Occasions Mini Catalog is just too cool!!!  I have made a number of projecs with it including an Ice Cream Cone and a Hanging Petal Cone.  I love everyone of them!!

This project lays flat and you could slip a small gift inside.  What do you think of my flower?  It is one of our Paper Daisies.  I added some Baja Breeze Ink Refill and some water to an empty buttons container and added the flower.  I allowed it to dry, attached it to my project and added a Crumb Cake button to the center.

I added some Jewelry Tag punchouts stamped with images from the Tiny Tags set to a Vintage Trinkets Safety Pin and then to the Crumb Cake Seam Binding.

Well, how do you like this?  It is the other make & take project that my club gals are making this month. 

Whoooo's your Valentine?  Our Real Red layer was run through the Big Shot with the Lots of Love Letterpress Plate 120983 inked in Versamark. 

The owl image is from a Sale-a-bration set called Punch Bunch and you can get it for FREE on Tuesday, January 25th with your $50 order. We stamped him once on Whisper White and once on Crumb Cake, punched and cut him out.  Can you guess where the Crumb Cake piece is???

The moon behind him is a 1 1/4" circle punched out of Red Glimmer Paper 121790 and the Crumb Cake branch is from the Two Step Bird Punch 117191.

We put all his pieces on a 2 1/2 square of Whisper White and then layered that on a Chocolate Chip scallop from the Scallop Squares Duo Die 120903.

After I played around wth the Twisted Kissing technique, I wondered what the kiss would look like without the twist.  I paired Pink Pirouette and Riding Hood Red and used the Fine Flourish single stamp with the butterfly from the Simple Friendship set to find out. 

I really like it!!! 

The friend greeting is from a new set in the Occasions Mini Catalog called You're a Gem.

How stinkin' cute is this!!  It was made by Pam Findlay for our Control Freaks Occasions Mini Catalog Swap.  I about fell over when I saw this. :-)  Pam thought of everything.  She has a little bag of buttons AND a thread packet that she created with the Scallop Edge Punch.

There is a needle and some safety pins as well.  Everything you might need to perform a quick mending job away from home.  I have this little gem in my purse and I am anxiously looking forward to making some myself. :-)

Here it is all wrapped up complete with a snap closure. :-)

Are you a Stampin' Buddie??

How cool is this!!!  It is an Ice Cream Cone Card made from the New Petal Cone Bigz L Die 121810 and the Big Shot.

I ran my Crumb Cake card stock through the Big Shot with the new Petal Cone die and cut off the long side tab and one of the petals.  I ran the bottom of the cone through the Big Shot again with the Perfect Details Texturz Plate 115962 and added some Crumb Cake ink with a sponge dauber.

The scoop of Ice Cream is another "petal" off the die that I cut from Pretty in Pink card stock and sponged with Regal Rose ink.  The ripple on the ice cream scoop is from the Tasteful Trim Bigz XL Die 120903 Die that is still available for purchase.

Here is the inside of the card.  I cut my Whisper White piece to just fit inside the cone area and stamped it with a greeting from the Birthday Bliss 115442 stamp set.   Thanks to Holly for inspiring this project.

Yesterday was my monthly Technique Geeks Class and we learned Dual Embossing and Twisted Kissing.

We had a blast as usual.  My next Technique Geeks Class is Saturday, February 12th from 2-4.  Come join us!!

We used the Artistic Etchings stamp set for the medallions and cut them out with the 1 1/4" Square Punch.  The Elegant Thank You single stamp was punched out with the 1 3/8 Square Punch.  The backer for one of the medallions was done by using the Scallop Trim Corner Punch on a 2x2 piece of Basic Black card stock.

I found this card in my photo files and realized that I had not shared it with you. :-)

I used the Printed Petals W116679,C120444 and Curly Cute W117014, C120510 stamp sets.  My colors came from the Color Coach and are Pretty in Pink, Marina Mist and Daffodil Delight.  What a fun springy card.  The center accent of the hand cut flower is a Subtles Button with a super skinny strip of card stock used as thread. 

TIP:  If you want to use card stock as thread, burnish it with your bone folder first.  Pretend you are curling ribbon.  This will break down the fibers in the card stock and make it more pliable for tying.

The background was created with the Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder 117335 and I only ran about 2/3 of it through the Big Shot.

I used my Scallop Trim Border Puch on the Marina Mist strip and added Pretty in Pink 1/4" Grosgrain and Daffodil Delight 1/8" Ribbon on top of that for the accent strip.

Here is a set of notecards I made with the NEW Love Impressions Rub-Ons 121886.   I used Crumb Cake card stock for the rub-ons and then tied a knot with the NEW Crumb Cake Seam Binding!!!  WOO HOO, there are four new colors of Seam Binding in the Occasions Mini Catalog.  The swirly image is from one of my all time favorites, Priceless.
