Bright Blossoms Bunny Card

Isn't this little bunny the cutest!!  I found inspiration from Dena Rekow and Gina Taylor and here is my creation.

Brightblossomsbunny

I thought his little bunny behind would look so cute sitting in the grass so I took a strip of Pear Pizzazz and used my Paper Snips to snip down about halfway and repeated this all the way across moving the scissors ever so slightly with each cut.  I went back and cut some of the blades on the diagonal.  I added a little circle of Pretty in Pink card stock with the small circle punch in the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack and then adhered the matching button over it to create his tail.

The bunny is made using three of our punches:
3/4 Circle (head) 119873
Small Oval (body) 120908
Blossom Petals Builder (ears) 121808

I stamped the leaves and daffodils using the NEW Sneak Peak set called Bright Blossoms.  You can purchase this during the new catalog sneak peak next month!  The Daffodil Delight Seam Binding is also part of the sneak peak.  The greeting is from the Delightful Dozen stamp set found on page 167 of the catalog

Big Shot and a Blossom Party in the Kitchen!

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY  Be sure to wear your Green today!!!

I found these Sugar Sheets in my local grocery store and just had to have them.  They are pliable sheets of colored sugar and you can cut them with your Big Shot Machine!

Sugarsheets

I removed the sheets from the package and cut them to size for my dies with my Kitchen Shears.  I used the Blossom Party Originals Die and the Floral Fusion Sizzlit.  The Sugar Sheets come with a thin cardboard backing on one side and a clear film on the other.  I kept the layers together as I ran them through the Big Shot.

Order your Big Shot Machine in March and qualify for FREE Sale-a-bration products.

Sugarsheetsdies

When I separated the sugar pieces from the backing sheets, this is what I ended up with.  Aren't they cute!!  We also used the small circle from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack and the 1/2" Circle Punch on the finished cake.

Sugarsheetdiecuts

I made a cake just so I could use these Sugar Sheet pieces and here is my finished treat.  My daughter helped me add the pieces and I have to say that they are pretty tasty as well. :-)  Who knew your Big Shot Machine could be used in the kitchen!!!

A Sale-a-bration Envelope!

Outlinedoccsionswenvelope

Here is another custom envelope I made last week.  I wanted it to match the card so I used Pool Party card stock.  I cut the card stock to 7 3/4 x 7 3/4 and then using my Simply Scored Tool and the NEW Diagonal Scoring Plate, I scored it at 3 1/8" on two opposite sides and 4 1/8" on the other two opposite sides.

Envelope_snipedgesI snipped out the areas where the two lines crossed with my 1 1/4" square punch and trimmed the point off the bottom flap.  The liner is from the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper that I received FREE with a $50 order I placed last month.  You can earn FREE products too, for each $50 you spend with me, either in person or in my Online Store, you can choose a FREE item from the Sale-a-bration brochure

I cut the liner to 4x4 and that seemed to be the perfect size when i folded it to form two triangles.  It fits perfectly inside the envelope.  Here is a shot of the liner in place, the crossing lines snipped out and where I put my adhesive.

Envelope_glue_liner

The card used the Outlined Occasions Stamp Set as well as the Everyday Enchantment Ribbon and Brad Pack. Both of these items are also FREE choices for your $50 order.  I received the card in a swap.

Supplies for the card and envelope:
Stamps: Outlined Occasions - FREE with a $50 order through March 31st
