I am so not a frilly kind of gal but I am loving the Dress Up Framelits and my Print Poetry Designer Series Paper Stack. The Dress Up Framlits are found on page 32 of the Spring Catalog and are part of a bundle of products.
The Framelits were designed to coordinate with the Pop 'n Cuts Line and while I do have all four coordinating items, you don't need them all to create fun cards. I do have some other posts scheduled to show you some of the other products in this line but I decided to start with the Framelits.
This is a card I had available at my Monthly Card Buffet Class. We used the Dress Up Framelits and the Print Poetry Designer Series Paper Stack with some coordinating card stocks. The Dress Form shape was cut out of the Marina Mist layer and then we ran it through the Big Shot with the Needlepoint Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
I chose this beautiful floral print from the paper stack and my greeting is from the Sale-a-bration set called Bloomin' Marvelous. Get it FREE with a $50 order palced in my Online Store or via email to me.
Did you notice my little flower at the waist? It is one flower cut from the 5/8" Flower Trim Ribbon. I put my Heat Tool to the flower to shrink it as I found it to be a bit too big at its original size. Here is a photo showing you the size difference before and after I applied the heat. I also took the brush tip end of my Marina Mist Marker to add a bit of color to the flower after I shrunk it.
Here is the same card but with Summer Starfruit as the base.

Let's get this Mystery Hostess Party started, EMAIL ME today!!! Please note club and Be a Big Shot at Home orders are not eligible for this special offer.
I had fun making this simple card and coordinating envelope. It is a 4 x 12 piece of card stock with a 1 x 12 strip from the Sunshine & Sprinkles Designer Series Paper pack scored at 4" and 8". This makes a 4x4 card and I have the envelope instructions below.
The front panel uses one of the stamps in the Patterned Occasions stamp set, the birthday cupcake, and I inked it with a variety of Stampin' Write Markers. It was punched out with the 1 3/4" Circle Punch, layered on a 2" Lucky Limeade Circle from the Circles #2 Originals Die and that was layered on a Melon Mambo 2 3/8" Scallop Circle. The little Daffodil Delight banner is a 1/2" x3 1/2" and I hand cut the ends with my Paper Snips.
I added my greetings from the One in a Million stamp set (order it in Clear #126382 or Wood #126380) and punched them out with the 2 3/8" Scallop Circle Punch. I added a knot of Lucky Limeade Ruffled Ribbon to one of the arrow clips out of the Hung Up Cute Clip pack.
I also made a coordinating envelope for my card using the Simply Scored Scoring Tool and my FREE Simply Scored Diagonal Plate. Yes, I said FREE, you can choose the Simply Scored Diagonal Plate FREE when you place a $50 order with me during Sale-a-bration. It is one of 19 FREE products you can choose FREE with your orders through March 22nd.
I love using the Designer Series Paper Stacks for my envelopes as the patterns are subtle and the sheets are perfect for a variety sizes of envelopes. I cut a 12x12 sheet of Lucky Limeade Polka Dots from the 2011-2013 In Color Paper Stack into a 7" square and placed in on the Diagonal Scoring Plate. I scored it at 3 1/4" on all four sides. Punch the little triangles on each side with a 1 1/4" Square Punch and fold the flaps up to create your envelope....SO EASY!

*Shop the Clearance Rack for bargains up to 80% off!Welcome to the February 2013 Tour de Freaks Blog Hop! We are so excited to have you join us today.
This month we are showing off some of our Spring Catalog Creations. Our tour is nice and short and features some of your favorite Control Freaks Stampers. You may have just come from Lisa Martz's blog you may be one of my blog stalkers or you may have just stumbled here…however you got here, you’ll be very glad you did! Be sure to take the whole tour! If you are arriving here on the 19th, please note that not all links may be working yet. The tour officially begins on the 20th.
I decided to do a little work with the Flower Fair Simply Scrappin' Kit shown on page 31. I am not a scrapbooker per say so I used the kit for a couple of cards too. :-) The colors in this kit are so fun and bright and the Designer Series Paper is fabulous!!
The kit includes two sheets of self adhesive die cuts, six 8x8 sheets of Double Sided Designer Series Paper, eight sheets of 8x8 card stock, one yard of each Garden Green (exclusive to the kit) and Regal Rose 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon and eight Daffodil Delight Designer Buttons.
I knew the Regal Rose floral pattern DSP would make a gorgeous dress so I also used the Dress Up Framelits from page 21.
I sort of envisioned this dress in a shop window and thought the lacy scallop pattern from the Delicate Designs Folders would make a great canopy. The greeting comes from the Oh, Hello set on page 4.
My second card uses the other DSP pattern in the kit and it has a bit more white space. I stamped a few butterflies from the Annual Catalog set called Papillion Potpourri and punched them out with the Bitty Butterfly Punch on page 13.
My greeting is a stamp that is included in the Pop-Up Posies Designer Kit on page 18 and I layered it on a couple of our Oval Punches. The ribbon and flag are both from the Flower Fair Simply Scrappin' Kit.
I did create an 8x8 scrapbook page but I layered everything on an 8x8 piece of Whisper White card stock.
That does it for me, your next stop is the blog of Cindy Elam and I know you will love what she has to share.
Thanks for visiting!!!!
Here is a tri-panel card that I made a while back but forgot to post. I started with a 3 1/2 x 4 panel of Whisper White. Stamped my images from Lacy & Lovely (Order it in Clear #122887 or Wood #122885) and then used my Color Spritzer Tool (order it #107066) to add a splattering of color with my Old Olive Stampin' Write Marker.
After spritzing it, I cut into three sections, not really measruing, just eyeballing it. I then added these sections to the front of my card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
I finished it off with a couple of Basic Rhinestores (order it #119246) in the top right corner.
My colors came off the Color Coach (order it #120148) and are Elegant Eggplant, Melon Mambo and Old Olive.

Here is a fun Valentine Card. It uses a Technique I call Spritzy Shapes. You create masks using punched or die cut shapes from the backing in the packs of Designer Series Paper. Attach the shapes to your project with a 2-Way Glue Pen and spritz over the top of them with the ink color of your choice mixed with 70% Rubbing Alcohol in one of our Stampin' Spritzers.
The above card also uses the Occasions Paper-Piercing pack inside one of the hearts.
I added some stamped images after my spritzing was dry with the Illuminate Glimmer Pad.
If you click the image below to make it larger, you will see all the wavy lines down the card that I created with the Border's Scoring Plate.
Here is another sample I created with this technique, click HERE to read about it.
Must have supplies for this technique:
126185 Stampin'Spritzers
Backing Sheet from a DSP Pack
Ink color of your choice
100425 2-Way Glue Pen
70% Rubbing Alcohol (90% doesn't work)
Additional Supplies I used:
130159 Hearts a Flutter Framelits
119883 Full Heart Punch
126857 Illuminate Glimmer Watermark Pad
129387 Occasions Paper-Piercing Pack
Delightful Dozen Stamp Set (order it in Clear #122652 or Wood #122650)

Barb's Reminders:
*Shop the Clearance Rack for bargains up to 80% off!My husband's parents celebrated their 50th Weddng Anniversary this past weekend so I made this card for them. Of course, I had to use the Champagne Glimmer paper, yes, this beautiful paper is still available! Order it HERE.
I started with a base of Very Vanilla and ran it through the Big Shot with the Lacy Brocade Testured Impressions Embossing Folder that was carried over from the Holiday Catalog. I die cut the large shape from the Apothecary Accents Framelits set out of Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake and Soft Suede. I layered the darker colors behind the Vanilla.
The numbers were cut from the Champagne Glimmer Paper with the Bigz Typeset Alphabet and popped up with pieces of Stampin' Dimensionals.
The words from the Memorable Moments set (order it in Clear #126682 or Wood #126680) were stamped with Versamark and then embossed with Gold Embossing Powder. This set even has the "TH" ending for 50.
I made an Easy Peasy Bow with some Crumb Cake Seam Binding and finished it off with a Basics Glimmer Brad.
I have some instructions for you to create this type of bow - Download Easypeasybow
