One of the techniques my Technique Geek class attendees learned in January is the Bokeh Technique (pronounced Bo-kay). Bokeh refers to the visual quality of the out-of-focus areas of a photographic image, especially as rendered by a particular lens.
I had tons of fun making mine and I think they enjoyed it too. :-)
My first one uses only two colors of ink, Perfect Plum and Tempting Turquoise. How gorgeous is the die cut butterfly. It makes my heart go pitter, patter every time I cut one out.
Creating the look: *Choose two or three coordinating colors of ink. *Pounce a Sponge Dauber into your first color of ink. *With light pressure, swirl the ink onto a piece of Whisper White card stock creating random patterns. *Continue with your second color and add a third color if you choose. *You can overlap them a bit. *Allow the ink to dry completely. *Cut a 4x4 piece of Window Sheet and run it through the Big Shot with the three smallest Circle Framelits to create a template. Place the window sheet over your colored piece. *POUNCE (using an up and down motion) White Craft Ink into the holes, DO NOT rub as you can contaminate the dauber with color and then contaminate your ink pad. *Move the mask around the colored piece until you have the coverage you desire. *Lastly add random dots using just the Sponge Dauber. *Allow the ink to dry or use a Heat Tool to speed up the process. *Decorate as desired.

This card uses three colors of ink, Crisp Cantaloupe, Calypso Coral and Lost Lagoon. I also added a piece of the Flower Trim that is in cluded in the Artisan Embellishment Kit, you can find this kit on page 27 of the Occasions Catalog.
I love them both, which is your favorite?

The Crazy About You Bundle is the focus of today's post. Great combination of products and the stamp set is available in Wood Mount, Clear Mount or Photopolymer. Purchase the stamp set with the thinlits and get the Bundle discount of 15%.
I used the "you" thinlit from the die set and a couple of word images from the stamp set. It has 33 phrases/words for you to choose from....endless possibilities!!

Stamped the word "love" in Crushed Curry, Blushing Bride and Night of Navy to coordinate with the Flowerpot Designer Series Paper. Slipped the tag into a "pocket" I created by folding a 2-1/2 x6 piece of Crisp Cantaloupe card stock in half and cutting in on the diagonal. A bit of adhesive down each side and an easy pocket is created.
It is hard to see in the photo, but I colored a strip of staples with the darkest shade in the Daffodil Delight Blendabilities before I put the strip in the stapler. Fun use of the Blendabilities.

The January 2015 Paper Pumpkin Kit is way too cute!!! I have completed nearly two full kits so my kiddos can take treats to their teachers and classmates.
The kit comes with the supplies you see at the left along with a stamp set and Real Red ink spot. It will make 24 treats.
Here is a video showing you how to put the treat sleeves together.
_________________________________________________________________________ I have some leftover supplies including the stamp set and the Real Red Ink spot. Here are a few projects you can make with your leftovers.
This card uses some additional images for the background, the large splotch and the random group of hearts. These two images are found in the Perpetual Birthday Calendar stamp set.
Rather than fold the tag over a cello bag filled with treats, it is simply folded and adhered to a small candy bar, quick and easy.
This packaging includes a beautiful layer full of gold embossed hearts. This heart was one of the stamps included with the complete kit. The Blushing Bride Baker's Twine is also included.
