Here is a great card for the men in our lives and it would also be perfect for Father's Day, simply change the greeting!
Basic Black: 7- 7/8” x 7- 7/8”, scrap for pocket
Whisper White: 4 x 6- 1/4”
Urban Underground DSP: 5” x 12”, scrap for bow tie
*Using the Envelope Punch Board punch and score the Basic Black cardstock at the 3- 3/8” mark
*Turn the cardstock, line up with the score line punch and score again, continue to do that on all remaining sides.
*Cut off two smaller sides and fold the remaining two flaps in, this will form the vest.
*Using the vest trace both flaps onto Urban Underground DSP, cut them out and attach to the vest flaps. Trim any excess.
*Fold flaps in and adhere them together, be careful to only apply adhesive on the pointed part of one flap so there is no excess glue.
*Snip Whisper White about 3/4“ from top on both sides about 1” in
*Fold flaps at a slight angle to create collar, secure with Dimensionals
*Slide Whisper White inside of vest and mark with a pencil at the “v”. Remove it and stamp your greeting.
*Using the Bow Builder Punch, create the bow from the DSP and add to the collar, punch an extra end for the handkerchief.
*Crop one of the bow middle strips from Basic Black, attach it to the bow end, trim the excess and then adhere it to the front of the vest.
*Add the nut head embellishment to the vest as a button.
This card is a bit large to fit in a standard A2 envelope but you can create one from a sheet of the DSP. Use the envelope punch board and the measurements for an A6 card – 4 1/2” x 6 1/2”
