Sneak Peak at my Founder's Circle Swap

Here is a sneak peak at the little flowers that are going on my Founder's Circle Swaps.

Each swapper will be making 120. This is my sixth year attending Founder's Circle and while 120 may seem like alot, I can hardly wait to see the swaps I will receive. :-)

I used the 7/8 Scallop Circle Punch for the flower and the small circle punch from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack for the flower middles.

If you look closely, I added little white dots to all the flower middles with our NEW White Stampin' Chalk Marker shown in the Holiday Catalog.

To give the flower a bit more of a 3D look, I used my Paper Snips to snip in between each scallop towards the center and the small circle covers up the mess in the middle....LOL!

I will be sharing my completed swap cards soon.

Here are some fun card swaps that Bonnie was turning into full cards.

a beautiful card using the Candlelight Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper.  Love the red flocking on the window sheet.

Some of the Decor Elements Stampin' Up! puts up around the hotel for us.  One of the hotel employees told me that they keep it up for the whole year!!

My other twin Jodi and I in our matching shirts!

Penny, Nancy, Connie and I all went to a super fun boutique shop in St. Geoege called Krumpets.  We had the best time wandering around drooling over all the incredible displays!!!

Had dinner at the Olive Garden with Kelly, Pam, Brenda K, Jenn, Nancy, Brenda M, and Susan Elise.  We had great food and some really fun conversation.  Thanks girls!!!

Then it was off to the Tuacahn Outdoor Ampitheatre for Hairspray!!!  It was hilarious and I had the best time!!

We got back to the hotel around midnight and I had to pack.  I got to bed at 2:00am and got up at 4:00am to be on the 4:45am bus!!  It was brutal.  I flew to Salt Lake City and Billings, MT and then drove the two hours home to Sheridan.  I was pooped.  My kiddos had this greeting waiting for me when I walked in.

A big HUGE thank you to all my wonderful customers, friends and downline members.  Without all of you, I would not have been able to take ths trip.  You all ROCK!!!!

Place your orders in my Online Store!!  If you spend $40, choose your FREE roll of Satin Stitched Ribbon.

Founder's Circle - Day 3

Sorry for the lack of posting, I had very spotty internet at the hotel and it became frustrating to say the least.

I am back from my trip and I had such a wonderful time!  Here are some highlights from our third day.  We boarded the buses at 6:50am on our way to Kanab, UT where the manufacturing plant is located.  Here is a pic out the bus window of the sun rising.

All the employees come out and greet us with high fives and signs.

We headed over to the rock to have our pictures taken on it.

After a Q&A with some of the management we had a tour of the facility.  I have had this tour before but we saw some wonderful new things!!  We received a sneak peak stamp set and a stamp pad.  The Rich Regals stamp pads are put together by hand in Kanab and we got to see the whole process.

After that, we were treated to a wonderful lunch catered by the Rocking V Cafe in Kanab.  It was so yummy

Then it was back on the bus to our secret destination.  We traveled to the Glen Canyon Dam and boarded river boats to float the Colorado River to Lee's Landing.  Getting down to the rafts required the use of a hard hat in case of falling rocks!!

The trip also included a stop.  You could take a short hike to view the petroglyphs left by Ancestral Puebloan peoples.

To give you an idea of how large the canyon is, I have an arrow on this photo pointing to a fishing boat on the water ahead of us.

We ended the 3 1/2 hour trip at Lee's Landing where we had our dinner waiting for us.  They were packaged in fabulous insulated bags.

We ate our meals on the bus back to St. George and watched a movie.  We arrived about 9:30 so we had a long day.  It was WONDERFUL!!  On my bed was this beautiful framed photo of Horseshoe Bend, a section of our trip.

It's "Back to Spool" time.  Get a FREE roll of Stitched Satin Ribbon with any $40 order in September!

My Founder's Circle Swap

Join Stampin' Up! in October and get a FREE Big Shot Machine or your choice of $100 in merchandise, click HERE to join now!!

This is the swap I made for my recent Founder's Circle Trip.  I decided to make two different colors as I needed some variety.

I stamped the leafy image from My Friend in Black StazOn onto Glossy White card stock.  It went throught the Big Shot with the Square Lattice Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and resembles plastic.  Pretty cool!!

I added a strip of the 1 1/4 Striped Grosgrain Ribbon (get your share of this ribbon) over the top and my greeting is punched with the Jewelry Tag Punch and layered on the stocking top from the Stocking Builder Punch and then onto two of the muffin cups from the Cupcake Builder Punch.  It is a pretty easy card to make if you are making one but it took a bit of time to crank out 125 of these babies!!

Founder's Circle - Day 4

Today is my last day at Founder's.  I will be leaving at the crack of dawn (sorry Dawn!!) Sunday morning.  I had the best time and this was by far the best Founder's yet!!!

I had a relaxing morning, I ate breakfast and then went to the mall with Jane.  She found some super cute clothes to wear to the Main Event tonight and she looked HOT!!!

We checked out the Gathering Place and found the treat of the day!!

We chatted most of the afternon until it was time to get ready for the suprise event.  We boarded the buses and headed out.  We arrived at the Coral Canyon Golf Course and I was instantly afraid!  I don't golf, I don't thnk I have ever even touched a golf club.  Thankfully, we didn't really have to golf so that was a relief.  We got into golf carts with our team members and went out to "play" our nine holes.

We had to stop at nine holes and there was a golfing or stamping challenge at each one.  The first was the Marshmallow Drive and we had to drive a marshmallow as far as we could.

Here I am getting ready to drive that sucker, unfortunately with my Frozen Shoulders, I had to use a pinch golfer and Mary stepped in for me.

Hole #2 was Stampin' Trivia, we had to answer questions about the company one of which was how much rubber does Stampin' Up! use in a year.  We thought we were donig really good and at the end of the 18 questions, we got ZERO right, that's right ZERO!!!  They were hard questions. :-)

Hole #3 was a challenge, a member of our team had to eat a HUGE marshmallow.  Mary offered to do ths challenge before she knew what it was, after she saw the marshmallow, I thought she was gonna pass out.  Since she had pinched golfed for me, I thought it was only fair to return the favor.  We had to eat the marshmallow as fast as we could and I wolfed that thing down in 30 seconds!!!

Hole #4 was another stamping challenge.  A member of our team had to stamp images in squares as fast as she could.  We chose Laurie for this task and she rocked it!!

Hole #5 was Hit it to Win it.  We had to putt a golf ball and hit Stampin' Up! products.  If we hit it we won it and if we could do it in one shot our team got 10 points.  It took me two tries to win the Winter Wishes Stitched Felt so our team did NOT get 10 points from me!!

Hole #6 was the Hole in One.  We had to put a ball and if we got it in the hole in one shot we got 100 points.  I did not get a hole in one but Cindy did...WOO HOO!!!

At Hole #7 we had to guess the number of stamps in the vase.  There were 118 in the vase and we guessed 144.

Hole #8 was Blind Stampin'.  Allana offerd to do this task and Christina gave the instructions.  It was hilarious!!  When we were done with this, Lyssa graciously took a picture of our group up on the rock.

The final hole was the Marshmallow Relay.  Shelli demonstrated what we had to do.  We had to put a marshmallow on a golf club and run around the flag without dropping it.  If we dropped it, we had to pick it up and keep going.  This was a speed race and I think we did pretty good!

After we finished all nine holes, we headed back to the clubhouse to find our table.  We had a wonderful buffet dinner and then the prizes were given out.  There were 17 teams and we took 2nd place!!!  We were so exctied to receive the Christmas Lane Simply Scrappin' Kit.  Look for a scrapbook class coming soon!!

When we returned to the hotel, we found our last pillow gift.  It was packaged in our Blossom Box cut with the Big Shot.  Inside was a beautiful fob made from our Simply Adorned Baubles - Clear Crystal - Pink Crystal, Vanilla Pearl and our Trinket Crowns.

Thank you to my incredible customers and downline for making this trip possible.  I appreciate each and every one of you!!!

Founder's Circle 2011 - Day 2

Day two started out with a lovely breakfast and some chit chat.  Then it was off to the Gathering Place to do our make & takes.  There is candy everywhere in this room and it was really hard not to eat a ton of it. :-)

Then it was over to the yummy treat case to see what the treat of the day was.  I was thrilled to find that it was yogurt parfaits and eclairs.  I love both of these yummies!

Each day we got to Plinko for a prize from the basket so I came home with a lot of loot!!

I hooked up with Kelly, Dawn, Jane, Lisa and Lynette to do our make & take projects.  The projects were fun and we got to use the new stamp set and sizzlit die we received in our pillow gift box the night before.

Place your orders here.

Later in the afternoon we went across the street to Iggy's for a late lunch and then back to the hotel to get ready for the Swap & Share.  Here we are, the four musketeers, on our couch - Me, Kelly (my twin), Dawn (her royal highness..wink) and Jane.

We had lots of yummy cake to choose from for our late night snack and I chose the Red Velvet.  It was so good, I seriously contemplated having a second piece!!

Then it was time for the business share, at the end, Jan got up to say a few words and mentioned that Shelli was having a milestone birthday next month.  We all had cards for her and little signs that spelled out happy Birthday.  I am holding the "D" in Birthday.  Shelli was just co cute in her handmade crown.

Then it was time to swap so all 123 of us went out into the hall and started.  I got a ton of cards and I can hardly wait to show them to you!!

Too much fun, day 3 will be coming soon so come back!!

You too can enjoy super fun trips like this, just join my team of demonstrators and I will work with you to help you achieve your goals!!  Find more info here.
