Peekaboo Frames Holiday Tag #1

DelightfuldecorationsexchangetagI participate in a monthly swap with some of my customers and this month we added Christmas Tags to the list of items we swap.  Mine uses the Peekaboo Frames Bigz L Die with the Big Shot Machine.  I ran my Real Red through the machine on the Top Noteish looking shape and then over stamped it with my Netting Background Stamp.  I layered it over a piece of Crumb Cake and added one of the ornaments from the Delightful Decorations set to the front.  The Silver Glimmer Paper flower is punched from the center of a Lace Ribbon Border Punch strip and I added a 5/16" Neutral Brad to the center.

You can get all these items to create this tag and receive a whopping 20% discount (click to read more) when you place your order with me by December 15th!!  Place your orders in my Online Store

DelightfuldecorationsexchangetaginI sponged the edge of the Crumb Cake piece with some Early Espresso and added my greeting from the Winter post set to the inside.  A bit of 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon finishes is off.  Pretty quick and easy.

Don't forget that I am giving you all a gift this Christmas.  A 20% discount on your entire order.  Check This Post for the details.

Holiday Stocking Gift Card/Money Holder

How cute is this!!  It is a gift card holder / money holder or it can be used as a Christmas Tree decoration.  I cut the stocking out of the Holiday Stocking Bigz L die.  The stocking uses two Real Red die cuts and one each of the topper, toe and heel in Whisper White.

StockingaccentstreeonstockingI cut three trees out of the Stocking Accents Originals Die, folded them in half and glued the middle one to one side of the other two to make a 3D tree.  The "ornaments" are small dots of our new Dazzling Details iridescent glitter glue and I colored the trunk of the tree with my Early Espresso Stampin' Write Marker.

StockingaccentshollyberryonstockingThe Holly Berries and leaves were also cut from the Stocking Accents die and they add some fun to the top of the stocking and also hide the 1/8" Real Red Taffeta ribbon used as a hanger. Can you see the Dazzling Details I added to each berry?

Are you looking to increase your stash of ribbon?  I have the perfect solution for you.  I offer ribbon shares and you can take a look at them HERE. Give yourself some ribbon for Christmas this year!!

I stamped Happy Holidays (from Four the Holidays set) in Real Red.

GiftsAstockingcloseHere is a shot of the Gift Card.  On this stocking, I used the Fabulous Phrases set to stamp the greeting and I added Garden Green 1/4" Grosgrain as the hanger.

You can order any of these items in my Online Store.

Thanks for shopping with me!!!

Pines & Poinsettias

I used the Pines & Poinsettias stamp set on this card.  The flowers were inked up with Real Red, Early Espresso and Wild Wasabi Stampin' Write Markers and a Basic Pearl adds some dimension.  The background was run through the Big Shot Machine with the Stripes Tetured Impressions Embossing Folder.  I sponged the edges to give it some interest.

The fun scallop behind the inked image comes from the Perfect Pennants Bigz L die.  It has three sizes of pennants and two fun scallops.  Get yours in my Online Store.

Stamps: Pines & Poinsettias W123762, C123764

Holiday Treats from the Stocking Accents Die!

Do you need some treats for a party?  I have the perfect idea for you.  I used my Stocking Accents Originals Die to create the candy cane and tree accents on these treat bags.

To make this Candy Cane, I ran Whisper White and Real Red through the Big Shot, then snipped the Real Red candy cane apart on the dotted lines and glued the red pieces to the White Candy Cane.

The tree is Wild Wasabi and after I ran it through the cutting die, I ran it through the Big Shot again with the Snow Burst Textured impressions Embossing Folder.  I purposely left the trunk out of the folder so it wouldn't be embossed and and I colored it with my Early Espresso Stampin' Write Marker.  A large RBasic Rhinestone finishes it off

I tied the bag of treats closed with some Real Red 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon.

StockingaccentscherrycaneI used Cherry cobbler and Whisper White to make this candy cane the same way.  I also stamped an image from the Tags til Christmas stamp set in Cherry Cobbler on Whisper White and punched it out with the 1 1/4 Square Punch and then layered it on a Scallop Square punch out of Cherry Cobbler.

I punched a 1/16" hole in both the tag and candy cane and tied the bag closed with some Linen Thread.

The bags are filled with Peppermint Oreos and some yummy chocolate coated caramel corn that I bought from one of my favorite boy scouts.

You can order the supplies to make your own super cute treat bags in my Online Store.

Stocking Punch Reindeer!!

Aren't these reindeer just the cutest things!!  I have seen them around and decided that I needed to make them too.

ReindeerHere is the map showing how I put them together.  I used the following punches:

Stocking Builder Punch - main body, ear and collar
Snowflake Punch - antlers
Owl Builder Punch - nose

The box is a 2-4-6-8 box that I created with my new Simply Scored Tool.  You take an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of card stock and score it at 2,4,6 & 8 on the long side, turn it and score at 2" on the short side.

Remove the small rectangle tab and cut up the dotted lines.  Fold on all score lines, add adhesive to the long skinny rectangle tab and form the box.  Add adhesive to the bottom flaps and fold them in to secure the box.  Pinch the top closed like a milk carton and use a brad to keep it closed.

An Advent Calendar?

How's this for an advent calendar!!  Nothing like the kiddos having a sleeve full of Skittles each morning right. :-)  Just kidding, we will be doing this one after school.

I used the 25 & Counting Stamp Set to create the candy sleeves and put I it in a square vase I have been using as a candy dish.  I put my Decor Elements on this last year.

CandyslideI stamped the days in different colors and punched them out with the 1" Square Punch.  I filled the 1x8 cello bags with the Skittles using my "Candy Slide" click the picture to see it larger.

After the bags were filled and sealed, I stapled Postage Stamp Punch outs in different colors to each bag and then added the stamped days with a dimensional.  My kids are gonna love this, thanks to Janeane for giving me this idea!!

Kraft Gift Boxes for Cookies!

SpicecakecookieboxoutThe Kraft Gift Boxes are so great for a little gift.  I made My Peanut Butter Cookies - get the recipe HERE - with my Sweet pressed Cookie Stamps and packaged them in one of these boxes as a hostess gift for a recent hostess.  I used the Spice Cake Designer Series Paper and cut the side panels to 2 1/4 x 3 1/4, and the top to 3 1/4 x 3 1/4.

The accent  piece was done with the Homemade Stamp and some punches.  I added a bit of Crystal Effects to the muffins for some dimension.  The Ribbon Knot is a strip of our Spice Cake Fabric.

I also made a cookie gift box with our Frostwood Lodge DSP but I gave that to another hostess before I took pictures.

Stamps: Homemade
Paper: Pool Party, Soft Suede, Spice Cake DSP, Whiper White
Ink: More Mustard, Soft Suede
Accessories: 1 3/4 Circle Punch, 2 3/8 Scallop Punch, 2 1/2 Circle Punch, Kraft Gift Boxes

Candy Corn Turkey!

GiftgiversGiftgiversturkeyIsn't this turkey just the cutest thing!!  He is one of the seven darling images in the Gift Givers W #123772, C #123774 set from the Holiday Mini Catalog.

I did this project as a make and take at a recent workshop and the gals really liked it.

We added some Candy Corn to one of the 1x8 cello bags and added the stamped tag.  We did not fill the bag all the way.  We cut the excess off and then tied the tag on with some Linen Thread.

The turkey image was stamped in Early Espresso and punched out with the Curly Label Punch.  We added a bit of color with Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Write Markers.

Gently Falling Clear Blocks and Netting

Stamping with our Clear Mount Blocks is really cool.  I stamped Block C in Sahara Sand along the strip and then over stamped it with the leaves and acorn stamps in the Gently Falling set.  I did both the outline and bold stamps in the same color, but I stamped the bold image off once before putting it on the paper.

RibbonscallopedIt is a bit hard to see in the photo but the Cajun Craze card base was stamped in the same ink with the NEW Netting Background Stamp.  I love this stamp, it is just the right touch for any type of card.

The Old Olive 1/2" Scalloped Dots Ribbon adds a nice touch and I flipped it as I didn't want the polka dots to show on this particular card.  How's that for cool, two ribbons for the price of one!!  Looking for a share of this NEW Ribbon?  Check out my Product Shares.

Warmest of Wishes Owl Treat

This is one of the projects my club gals had the opportunity to make last month.  We used the Warmest of Wishes stamp set that is one of your hostess choices with a $150 party/order.

The colors in the Autumn M&M's bag match some of our card stocks.  We used More Mustard, Cherry Cobbler and Early Espresso.

All three colors of card stock were stamped with Early Espresso Classic Ink.  The owl was punched out with the Owl Builder Punch and the mask and treat sack were cut with the Paper Snips and glued to the owl.

The 1x8 cello bags were filled using a Candy Slide (a piece of card stock cut to 8 x 1 1/2 and scored right down the middle) which makes this process go very quickly.

We added 12 M&M's and then folded the little cello bag on itself.  Two 1 3/4 circle punches were stapled around the top of the bag and the owl was added with Stampin' Dimensionals to hide the staple on the front.

These are super quick treats and the gals loved them.  I have a few extra and I will be handing them out this week. :-)

PeekabooframesskeleetonboxI made this little treat with the Matchbox Bigz XL Die, the Peekaboo Frames Bigz L Die and my Big Shot.

The greeting is from one of my favorite sets this time of year, Grateful Greetings.  I inked part of the greeting with my Rich Razzleberry and Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Write Markers and punched it out with the Postage Stamp Punch

I punched with the image near the bottom.

Then I attached a little card stock handle to it

Insert it into the punch again and line it up near the top of the inked image taking care to keep the edges in line.

Here is your mini postage stamp!

ItsawrapholiayseekI stamped the ghost image from Spooky Bingo Bits in Basic Black and punched it out with the 1" Square Punch.  His eyes are Basic Rhinestones and look really cool in person.

The little window is one of the die cuts on the Peekaboo Frames Bigz L Die that is in the Holiday Mini Catalog.

I have four yummy Hershey's Nuggets inside wrapped with the Halloween stamp from the It's a Wrap Holidays set, also in the Holiday Mini Catalog.

Haunted Forest Stair Step Card

I used the Haunted Forest ala carte stamp in the back of the Holiday Mini Catalog to create the main image on this card.

I stamped the Haunted Forest twice, once on Lucky Limeade and once on Whisper White.  I colored the images stamped on the Whisper White and punched out the colored areas with my circle punches.  I then lined up the punched circles with the image on the Lucky Limeade piece and glued them down.

This is called the spotlighting techniqe.  I did use a Sponge Dauber with Daffodil Delight for the moon and my Stampin' Write Markers for the other coloring.

I also used Wicked Cool, Grateful Greetings and the Simply Scored Tool on this card.
