Simply Scored Tool

VIDEO - Book Card

Going through some old projects, I came upon this card.  Does anyone remember Groovy Guava!!

It was part of a class I held a few years ago.  I loved the basic construction of the card so I recreated it using my current supplies and will mail them out in May as my Green Card for April orders. Green Cards are my thank you cards for those placing Online orders with me.  The card isn't green, but you can reuse it.

Technique - Spritzy Shapes

Here is a fun Valentine Card. It uses a Technique I call Spritzy Shapes.  You create masks using punched or die cut shapes from the backing in the packs of Designer Series Paper.  Attach the shapes to your project with a 2-Way Glue Pen and spritz over the top of them with the ink color of your choice mixed with 70% Rubbing Alcohol in one of our Stampin' Spritzers.

The above card also uses the Occasions Paper-Piercing pack inside one of the hearts. Heartsaflutterspritzy

I added some stamped images after my spritzing was dry with the Illuminate Glimmer Pad.

If you click the image below to make it larger, you will see all the wavy lines down the card that I created with the Border's Scoring Plate.

Here is another sample I created with this technique, click HERE to read about it.

A Sale-a-bration Envelope!

Here is another custom envelope I made last week.  I wanted it to match the card so I used Pool Party card stock.  I cut the card stock to 7 3/4 x 7 3/4 and then using my Simply Scored Tool and the NEW Diagonal Scoring Plate, I scored it at 3 1/8" on two opposite sides and 4 1/8" on the other two opposite sides.

Envelope_snipedgesI snipped out the areas where the two lines crossed with my 1 1/4" square punch and trimmed the point off the bottom flap.  The liner is from the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper that I received FREE with a $50 order I placed last month.  You can earn FREE products too, for each $50 you spend with me, either in person or in my Online Store, you can choose a FREE item from the Sale-a-bration brochure

I cut the liner to 4x4 and that seemed to be the perfect size when i folded it to form two triangles.  It fits perfectly inside the envelope.  Here is a shot of the liner in place, the crossing lines snipped out and where I put my adhesive.

The card used the Outlined Occasions Stamp Set as well as the Everyday Enchantment Ribbon and Brad Pack. Both of these items are also FREE choices for your $50 order.  I received the card in a swap.
