Lace Ribbon Border Punch Snowflake!

The Winter Post stamp set is on sale through Wednesday for $13.48 which is 50% off!!  I used the snowflake from this set with my Whisper White Craft Ink to stamp the large snowflakes on my Crumb Cake background.

Winterpostlacelollie

How cool is this medallion snowflake!!  I used my Simply Scored Tool and the Lace Ribbon Border Punch to make this 3D snowflake.

Start with a strip of card stock that measures 8 1/2 x 1 1/2 and score it every 1/8" with the Simply Scored Tool.  Then punch it with the Lace Ribbon Border Punch.  Fold accordion style and glue the ends together to form a tube.

Punch a 1" Circle from Whisper White and put a dime size circle of hot glue on it.  Gently flatten the center area of your snowflake to press it into the glue to secure it.

LaceribbonborderThe center of the snowflake is another small piece punched with the border punch and then I used my 3/4" Circle Punch to get just the small flower out of the middle.  I used a Rhinestone Brad to secure it to the snowflake.

The whole thing is layered on a 2 3/8 Scallop punch out in Island Indigo.

This card was featured in my Stampin Success magazine.  I receive a full color issue of this exclusive magazine each month, just another perk of being a Stampin' Up! Two Tags Gift Card Wrapper

Here is a fun Gift Card Wrapper made from the Two Tags Bigz Die for the Big Shot Machine.  Did you know that you can get a FREE Big Shot Machine just by joining my team of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators in October?  Find out more HERE.

Gftgivershalloweenin I started with a piece of Basic Black card stock that measures 6 1/2 x 4 1/2.  I used my Simply Scored Tool to score it at 1 3/4 and 4 3/4 and fold it together.

The paper on the front is from the Pick Your Poison Designer Series Paper in the Holiday Mini Catalog and the stamped image is from the Gift Givers set also in the Holiday Mini.

The tag is created by the Two Tags Bigz Die and my Big Shot Machine.  and I added the Basic Gray Satin and Basic Black 1/8 Taffeta Ribbon as a pull tab. Get your Ribbon Shares here.

This was a super simple project to make and it just might be included in my next Round of Be a Big Shot At Home series of classes.  I am taking sign ups for Round 3 which starts in November.  Sign up for the four classes and get a FREE $150 shopping spree in March.  Get all the details HERE.

I am working on a Christmas version of this gift card wrapper as well so stay tuned for that.

Replace the gift card with a flat treat like a mini Hershery's Chocolate Bar or a Heath Bar for a yummy treat for the kiddos.

Gently Falling and Baby Wipes

Also in the Holiday Mini Catalog is a beautiful fall stamp set called Gently Falling.  I received Gently Falling for FREE as a perk for my title with Stampin' Up!  It came in a kit with the Spice Cake Fabric, DSP and Big Buttons, all for FREE!  This is just one of the many perks of joining my team of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators.

Gentlyfallingcfswapgroup

Gently Falling is a 2-Step Stamp set meaning that you ink the solid image in one color and then over stamp the line art image with a darker color.  I used the Baby Wipe Technique for the solid leaf stamps and then over stamped them in Soft Suede.  The Perfectly Penned greeting set uses this beautiful font that is just perfect this card!

I used the Brand NEW Simply Scored Tool to create my Z Fold Card.  I cannot tell you how fast the scoring went on these 30 cards.  I used the place markers at 2 1/4 & 5 1/2 and I scored all 30 in about 5 minutes.  This tool is a MUST HAVE!!!!  Order in in my Online Store item #122334.

BARB'S TIP: Baby Wipe Technique - take a baby wipe and fold it in half, I like to place it in my Powder Pal Tray to protect my work surface from the ink.  Add drops of ink creating thick lines or a pattern of circles and use the baby wipe as your ink pad.  Be careful not to muddle the colors when you are inking the stamp.  You may want to clean your stamp between inkings.

This was my Control Freaks Holiday Mini Swap Card.  Leave me a comment and tell me what you think of it.
