Welcome to the November 2014 Tour de Freaks Blog Hop! We are so excited to have you join us today.
Our theme is "Christmas/Holiday" so you will see some fun projects using lots of different Stampin' Up! products. Our tour features some of your favorite Control Freaks Stampers. You may have just come from the blog of the incredibly talented Judy DiScipio, you may be one of my blog stalkers or you may have just stumbled here…however you got here, you’ll be very glad you did! Be sure to take the whole tour! If you are arriving here on the 19th, please note that not all links may not be working yet. The tour officially begins on the 20th.
My first project uses the Project Life December Wonder Photopolymer Stamp Set I got to play with this stamp set while I was on the Founder's Circle Retreat back in September. I only had a few ink pad colors with me so I chose Coastal Cabana and created the tag. I brought it home with me and added it to this card. I love the non-traditional Christmas colors . 🙂
The stamp set comes with the solid and outline diamond images. I stamped the Coastal Cabana off once to make the solid string and then came back in with Memento Tuxedo Black for the overlaying outline image. These stamps are Photopolymer so it is incredibly easy to line up the images.
My background uses the On Point Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
Supplies: Project Life December Wonder Photopolymer stamp set, On Point Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Neutrals Backgrounds Designer Series Paper Stack, Angled Tag Topper Punch, Scallop Ribbon Border Punch, Rhinestones Basic Jewels, Basic Black 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon.
My second project is a Money Holder. I don't know about you but cash is always the right size and always the right color for the young people on my list. I make these every year and this year, I have a video tutorial so come back early next week and I will have it posted for you.
I usd the Letterpress Winter set with my favorite snowflake color combination this year, Soft Sky and Lost Lagoon. I also added some of the smaller snowflakes stamped with the Encore Silver Metallic Pad.
I cut two banners, one from each color and staggered them just a bit for a pop of color at the end of the greeting
The For You greeting was stamped in Lost Lagoon and punched out with the 1" Circle Punch and then layered on a 1-1/4 Scallop Circle out of Soft Sky.
Supplies: Letterpress Winder, Stampin' Trimmer, Lost Lagoon and Soft Sky inks and card stock, Encore Metallic Silver Ink, 1" Circle Punch, 1-1/4 Scallop Circle Punch, Banners Framelits,
That does it for me, your next stop is the blog of another super talented Control Freak Stamper, Wendy Weixler, I know you will love what she has to share.
Great projects! Thank you for sharing!
