OSAT Blog Hop Pretty in Pink

I am taking a break today from my week of Blossoms in Bloom projects to participate in the OSAT Blog Hop, we will continue with Blossoms in Bloom projects tomorrow. 🙂
I am sure our July theme will inspire you. The theme this month is Pretty in Pink and I chose to use our newest pink, Magenta Madness!
I used the butterfly images from the Hippo Happiness stamp set, aren't they so cute! There are two butterflies, one detailed and one bold to use as a filler. I stamped the detailed image in Memento Tuxedo Black and then inked the bold image in Magenta Madness, stamped it off once and then filled in the butterflies. I added the little trail image after and stamped it both ways for some interest.
I had so much fun making the card, I made a bunch! The Whisper White layer is 3 1/2" x 4 3/4" and the Basic Black layer is 3 5/8" x 4 7/8".
I stamped the sentiment from the set in Memento on a 3/4" strip of white. I cropped a small piece of Magenta with the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch and added it to the left end of the sentiment strip. I also colored one of the Rhinestone Basic Jewels with a Magenta Madness Stampin' Blend Marker so it would match.

Here is another card using the Magenta Madness, This was one of the cards my gals made at my June team meeting. We had so much fun!! We used the sentiments from Lovely You, 6×6 In Color DSP, Greenery Embossing Folder, Butterfly Duet Punch, Confetti Punch and the In Color Enamel Dots.
