Oval All Swap

This is my Control Freaks swap for the Occasions Mini Catalog.  It is a pretty basic card and uses one of my favorite techniques right now, dyeing ribbon to match.  I used the Good Morning Sunshine Designer Series Paper. Oval All stamp set, the NEW Scallop oval punch and my Big Shot with Texturz Plates.

Here is a better shot of the tiny polka dot texture on the card.  The ribbon is dyed Summer Sun to coordinate with the colors of the DSP. 

I dyed this ribbon a little differently than a few of the other ribbons in earlier posts.  I added 20 drops of water to a sandwich bag and then added 10 drops of Summer Sun reinker.  Added my ribbon and smooshed it around until it was saturated. I allowed it to air dry on a piece of aluminum foil and then cut it up and added it to my cards.  I used 240" of ribbon and had to dye it twice because I didn't have enough water and ink in my bag the first time.  Go and dye some ribbon, it is addicting!!
