Retiring Accessories – 1 1/4 Striped Grosgrain Ribbon

The collection of 1 1/4 Striped Grosgrain Ribbons in on the Retiring Accessories List so I thought I would show you a few projects I have done using this awesome ribbon. 🙂 NOTE: These ribbons are only available while supplies last so order early!!

I made ribbon pins for all my club gals last year.  This ribbon is the perfect size!!

Here's a card and matching envelope.  The card has the Wild Wasabi Striped Grosgrain across the middle, there are no knots in this one so it is flat for mailing.  The envelope was created with the Diagonal Scoring Plate. 

I used the Mouth Watering and Sweet Cake sets on this card.  They are both in the Occasions Mini Catalog that ends April 30th.  To create the colored scented image, I inked the stamp with my Stampin' Write Markers in Real Red and Wild Wasabi and stamped it onto the Whisper White die cut.  I then stamped it again, uisng the Stamp-a-ma-jig, in Versamark Ink.  The Melon Scented Embossing powder was applied and heat set for a wonderful fruity scent.

Here I have the same card but in different colors.  I created a pennant with the ribbon on this card and it is also flat for mailing.  I used the My Friend stamp set for the main image.
