Ribbon Stripes with the Note Tag Punch

Had some fun with the retiring Cotton Ribbons on this card. I love the strips of color and since the stripes are ribbon, we get some nifty texture too.

Super easy card!! I started by running my layer of Whisper White through the Big Shot with the retiring Stylish Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I then chose four colors of the retiring Cotton Ribbon, Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, Pear Pizzazz and Pumpkin Pie. I wrapped them around the embossed layer and secured them to the back with some Tear & Tape Adhesive.

The greeting from Perfect Pennants (retiring stamp set) was inked in Pear Pizzazz, stamped on a scrap of Whisper White and cropped with the Note Tag Punch. I cleaned my stamp and inked it again in Melon Mambo, stamped it on a scrap, cropped the "a" with the 1/2" Circle Punch and added to the greeting with a Stampin' Dimensional.

I punched a hole in the top of the tag with the 1/8" Handheld Circle Punch and threaded a smaller snippet of the Pumpkin Pie Cotton Ribbon through it and tied it with some Whisper White Baker's Twine.
