My mom is getting up there in age and she doesn't do much decorating for the holidays any;more. It is just too difficult for her to drag out allthe holiday decorations and then put them away. I wanted her to have something to look at so I made her this framed piece of art.
I copied it from page 24 of the Holiday Catalog. I purchased my frame at Walmart and just followed the picture. I stamped the greeting in Memento Tuxedo Black on Whisper White and layered "hills" I hand trimmed using Shimmery White as it is a bit less white. I added glitter to the hills with my Fine Tip Glue Pen and our Dazzling Diamonds Glitter.
I cut the trees out of Garden Green and Wild Wasabi and added some Mica Flakes to them.
The reindeer are cut from Kraft Cardstock and I cut them again from Basic Black so I could trim off their hooves and add them to the Kraft reindeer. I aded bows of gold baker's twine and a mini jingle bell.
The sleigh is cut from Gold Foil Sheets and the bow from the Silver Foil Sheets.
I gave it to her last month when we drove home for Thanksgiving and she loved it. Made me happy. 🙂
