Smackin’ Acetate and Postage Due

We learned the Smackin' Acetate Technique at my October Technique Geek Class (click HERE to learn more about techniques) and this is the card the gals made.  I chose the Postage Due stamp set (Clear #126397 or Wood #126395) for this project.  The colors are Primrose Petals, So Saffron and Baja Breeze.

There are alot of little detail items on this card.  Notice the partial ticket sticking up in the left corner, I used the Ticket Duo Builder Punch on a scrap of Primrose Petals but only left a small portion sticking up behind the main image.  Add a Basic Rhinestone Jewel to draw attention to it.

The Primrose Stitched Satin Ribbon knot in the bottom left also adds a bit more detail.  The card opens on the side

Here is the detail on the open edge.  I created this look by using the Large Scallop Edgelit, Delicate Designs Folders and the Essentials Paper-Piercing pack.  I love that all these products are made to be used together for a complete look.
