Day 3 of my week of Sneak Peeks uses another Sale-a-bration stamp set. This one is only available through February 15 so order this one first. 🙂
The set is called Sky it the Limit and I am loving this bi-plane. You do need to fussy cut it out if you want to pop it up but it isn't too difficult.The papers are from the Going Places cardstock pack in the Occasions Catalog.
Have you taken a look at our cardstock packs? If not, you should, you receive 24 sheets of cardstock in three different colors, great deal if you aren't needing full packs of every color.
Now onto the card:
Measurements:
Lost Lagoon 5-1/2 x 8-1/2, 1-1/4 x 4 banner
Sahara Sand 5-1/4 x 4
Very Vanilla 5 x 3-3/4, 1 x 4 banner, scrap for plane
Instructions
1. Fold card base in half and add Sahara Sand layer.
2. Use a sponge and a light coating of Lost Lagoon to swirl all over the Very Vanilla mat to create the sky.
3. Ink the cloud stamps with Lost Lagoon ink and stamp several times before re-inking, adhere this layer to the card.
4. Stamp the heart trail in Early Espresso where shown, stamp the plane on the Very Vanilla scrap, cut out and attach to card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
5. Stamp the greeting on the Very Vanilla strip with Lost Lagoon ink and use the Triple Banner Punch to flag the end.
6. Adhere to the strip of Lost Lagoon and use the Triple Banner Punch to flag the end, adhere to the greeting and then to the card.
