Today is the last day of my Week of Sneak Peeks from the Occasions and Sale-a-bration Catalogs so I thought I would save the best for last. I couldn't wait to play with this new die from the Occasions Catalog and I know you will love it! This card is also one that my Be a Big Shot at Home Class will get to make in March.
It's called the Party Pop-Up Thinlits Dies and you can use it to make a fun pop-up on the inside of your card or trim the pop-up shapes to use as fun elements on the front of your card. The Thinlines coordinates with the Party with Cake Stamp Set. The two are sold as a Bundle as well as individually.
The die is super easy to use and I highly recommend using the Precision Base Plate with this one.
I paired it with the Honeycomb Happiness and Perfect Pairings Sale-a-bration stamp sets to create this fun card for my niece. I stamped the balloon image twice, once on the Whisper White layer and again on a scrap of DSP from the It's My Party Designer Series Paper Stack and cut it out. I colored the bow with a Melon Mambo Stampin' Write Marker.
I added another pattern from the It's My Party DSP Stack to the left edge and wrapped both colors of the new Baker's Twine Combo Pack around it.
Open the card and you have this fun element that pops out at you. I added some confetti and another greeting to the inside.
