The paper piecing technique was used on this card. The paper is also from the Occasions Catalog and it is called Succulent Garden.
Measurements:
Old Olive: 5 ½” x 8 ½”; fold and score at 4 ¼”
Whisper White: 4 ¼” x 5 ½” for inside of card, 4" x 4" for dancing girl, small scrap for greeting
Dazzling Diamond Glimmer Paper: 2” x 5 ½”; 4" x 4" layer behind dancing girl
Succulent Garden Designer Series Paper: 1 ¾” x 5 ½”; scrap for dress-flower pattern
Instructions:
Add the strip of Designer Series Paper to the strip of Dazzling Diamond Glimmer Paper using Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue; adhere this strip to the base card.
Using the Basic Black Archival ink pad, stamp the sentiment on the small scrap of Whisper White and crop with a small circle framelit.
Using the same ink pad, stamp the dancing girl image once on the 4 x 4 piece of Whisper White cardstock and again on the scrap of floral Succulent Garden paper.
Crop out the girl from the Whisper White cardstock using the largest circle Stitched Shape Framelits. Use the same framelit to crop the 4×4 piece of Glimmer Paper. Cut along the stitched edge of the Whisper White layer and add it to the Glimmer Paper with the Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Fussy cut the dress from the Designer Paper and adhere it over the dress on the Whisper White layer.
Color the hat using the Calypso Coral marker.
Adhere the dancing girl to the card base. Add the greeting circle to the side of the stamped image using a Stampin' Dimensional
