This new set called Sprinkles of Life is "totes adorbs" as my daughter would say and I have to agree. Pair it with the coordinating Tree Builder Punch and we have a winner!
When you purchase the Sprinkles of Life stamp set, Stampin' Up! donates $3 to Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). Stampin' Up! partnered with RMHC in 2003 and each year, they design an exclusive stamp set to promote that partnership. To date, more than $1,000,000 has been donated from RMHC stamp set sales.
To create my card, I used the cloud (as the ice cream) and cone images. I stamped the cone in Tip Top Taupe on Tip Top Taupe card stock and cut it out.
I had a little fun with the ice cream. I flipped my photopolymer stamp upside down and mounted it to the block so I was stamping with the flat side. I inked it in Mint Macaron and stamped if off once before putting it on my Whisper White. I cleaned the stamp, mounted it the right way and stamped the image full strength in Mint Macaron and punched it out. I repeated this process with the Watermelon Wonder.
Please note that when you stamp with your images reversed, they might not line up exactly as the two images are opposites. In this case, it worked out pretty good. It is hard to see in the photo but I did add some Dazzling Diamonds Glitter to each scoop of ice cream with my 2-way Glue Pen.
I added a bit of the new Watermelon Wonder 1" Dotted Lace Trim under the ice cream layer and added the banner to a toothpick.
