A few weeks ago, my friend and customer Angela asked me if I would help her with a stamping project for DAR (Daughter's of the American Revolution). Stamping, me, of course!! She wanted to provide some packets for her group to stamp and then she is going to send them to Project Rudolph which is an organization created to give deployed and deploying service members a bit of holiday cheer. She wanted cards that would be appropriate for anything and anyone to give or receive so here are the three that I came up with.
Unfortunately I left my camera at home but let me tell you these ladies were so thrilled, many of them commented to me that they were a bit apprehensive when Angela mentioned this project but that they were having a blast!! Some of them also mentioned that they didn't think they could do it and were just tickled at how easy stamping is. I was so happy that I could do a little something.
We tried to make the cards as easy as we could so anyone could do it and I think I accomplished that task. I kept wanting to add things and had to stop myself. I used retired card stock and ribbon that was available from the Clearance Rack. The Top Note was Angela's idea and it was brilliant. She had her kids cut hers and said that they loved doing it. The Big Shot is a wonderful tool for the kiddos, it has kept my kids entertained alot since I purchased it. Get yours FREE by siging up for my Be a Big Shot At Home classes.
