I found these while cleaning my stamp room a few months ago and since the Tart & Tangy set is part of Sale-a-bration, I thought I would share them. Get the Tart & Tangy set FREE with a $50 order placed this month.
I actually made these invitations to my darling daughter's birthday party back in 2008.
Start with a 4 x 5 1/2 piece of card stock and fold it in half to make a 2 3/4 x 4 card. Take a "bite" out of the top right corner with the 1 3/4 Scallop Punch. TIP: Punch one side at a time as our punches are not designed to go through two layers of our thick card stock.
I stamped the lemon/lime/orange image in craft ink and embossed it with our Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder so they really sparkle. They were punched out with the 1 1/4" circle, and layered on a 1 3/8 circle and a 1 3/4 Scallop Circle
Here is a shot of the inside, the white piece is 2 1/2 x 3 3/4 and I took a "bite" out of this layer as well. I attached the popsicle stick with Sticky Strip and then placed Stampin' Dimensionals all around the white layer so it was even with the stick.
The Inviting stamp set on page 53 will work perfect for these cards.
The ribbon is our 1/4" White Grosgrain and I dragged the brush tip end of a Stampin' Write Marker along both edges to apply the color.
My daughter still talks about these invitations so I guess they are pretty cool. 🙂
