I held my September Technique Geek Class on Saturday and we had so much fun!! The gals were great and I think they enjoyed the two techniques we learned. The next class is Saturday, October 16th from 2-4, sign up today!!
Here is the first technique we learned, it is called Raised Vellum Pop. We used the Day of Gratitude stamp set (#W120835, C121148) from the Holiday Mini Catalog along with the Tiny Tags (W118091, C1185929) stamp set.
Don't you just love the ZigZag accent piece? Normally, a strip this small would be a nightmare to use as adding adhesive would be a real trick. Not anymore!!! Take a 3/4" strip of our NEW Big Shot Multi Purpose Adhesive Sheets (#120805), peel off one of the backing strips and add it to one side of a 1" Perfect Plum strip of card stock.
Run this piece through the Big Shot Machine (#113439) with the Tasteful Trimi Bigz XL die (#120893). Remove the other backing sheet and stick it down. Easy, peasy lemon squeezy. The Big Shot Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets make adding even the smallest die cut pieces of card stock and fabric a breeze, think Sizzlits.
You receive twelve 12×12 sheets for $14.95, that is less than $1.50 per huge sheet, what a bargain. If you have a die cutting machine, you need this product!!!
The colors I chose for this project came right off the Color Coach (#121620) another must have for any paper crafter!! I used Perfect Plum, Always Artichoke and Cajun Craze.
Come back tomorrow for the second technique we learned!!!
My 12 Weeks of Christmas Ideas starts this week, be sure you are ON THE LIST to receive them.
