Here are the projects we made in my techniques classes last week.
We used Stampin’ Up! Craft spots to ink up the stamps for these 2×2 tiles. The tiles come on a sheet of 36 at Home Depot for about $10. After you stamp the image and dab the color around the edges, you cover the tile with clear embossing powder. Place it on a cookie sheet and bake in a 350 degree oven for 10 minutes. The heat in the oven will melt the EP and leave a nice glossy image. I attached a button magnet to the back and will give these to some family members this year. Our Craft Spots are great for all kinds of projects and the price sure is right.
This one used the tree from Loads of Love. I inked up the tree in Handsome Hunter Craft Ink and then dabbed the Sage Shadow Craft Ink around the edges.
This tile uses a stamp from Snowburst. I inked up the snowflake in Night of Navy Craft Ink and dabbed the Brocade Blue Craft spot around the edges to finish it off.
Next is a card we made using a technique by my friend Vickie Maduzia called the Magic Snowflake. This technique is pretty cool.
My technique classes are only $5 and I do two sessions each month. The next sessions will be in January. If you want to be notified of the class time, sign up for my newsletter over in the left hand side bar.
Happy Stamping!!!
