I have been teaching stamping classes for a long time and the number one thing my stampers struggle with is tying the perfect knot. I finally made a video showing you how to do it. I apologize for the lighting, I have some new bulbs on order. 🙂
VIDEO – How to Tie the Perfect Knot
In this short video, I tie a knot three different times with three different types of ribbon on three different cards. Grab a piece of ribbon and follow along with me to Tie the Perfect Knot
Happy Saturday to you!!!

Hi, Barb,
This is a great video.
I teach my classes a little rhyme about tying this knot. It helps – when they can remember the rhyme! 🙂
Left over right,
Pull it tight.
Right over left,
Pull it right.
Thanks for sharing the visual.
Thanks for clarifying! Funny how something so simple can be difficult at times.
Thanks for the great video!
Oh my heavens, Barb, how easy when you know the trick! I followed your video and did a perfect knot. I have struggles lately doing this especially with the seam binding. Thanks so much! Sheila
Absolutely AWESOME! Amazing at how something so simple has tripped us up for so long! What a difference it makes in making a card look so much more professional! Thank you thank you thank you!
Thank you for sharing all of your wonderful tips. On the last ribbon you demonstrated, I noticed the flower on the card look very shiny, how did you get that look. I have the stamp, and would like to get thta same marble looking effect. TFS and God Bless.
