Weekend Class Samples – Big Shot Basics

Here are the projects we did at my latest Big Shot Basics class this past weekend.  You do not need a Big Shot to attend these classes.  The projects are different each month so I look forward to seeing you in April!!  Click HERE to see January's projects.

This card was so much fun to make, who doesn't love glitter!!!  We ran the Sticky Pages through the Big Shot with the Beautiful Butterflies die and then covered it with some Supernova glitter.  The Scallop was created by brayering ink all over the polka dot texturz plate and running the Whisper White scallop die cut through the Big Shot.  The colors came from the Rainbow Sherbet DSP, come on spring!!!

Our second project was supposed to look something like this

However, I cannot find my Sweet Stems Embosslit!!! I looked everywhere and even offered my 5 & 7 year olds a reward if they could find it…..no luck.  I had this Sweet Stems die cut piece in my "keep it because I will find a use for it someday" box and threw it on for the picture.  I changed the DSP and the Embosslit and came up with this instead for the class attendees.

We used the Simple Flower Embosslit and the Bella Birds DSP.  Since we now sell Clear Rhinestone brads all by themselves, I can use them on everything!!!  WOO HOO!!!!  So we did…LOL.  We ran the Pretty in Pink card stock through the Big Shot using the new Box #2 die.  It measures about 3 3/4 x 2 x 1 1/4 when it is put together.  Perfect for that small gift and since there is only one small strip where it needs adhesive, it goes together super quick!!

Our last project uses one of my favorite new sets called Trendy Trees.  These little trees are just so fun and you can stamp them in any color.

This card was CASE'd from Leanne G.  I changed the colors to match those in the Flower Power card elements as I just think that color combo looks so rich.  We taped strips of card stock together, ran them through the big shot with the Harlequin Texturz plate and then trimmed off the ends to fit on the card.  We used torn copy paper to sponge the hills.  The colors are Perfect Plum, Rose Red, More Mustard and Old Olive.  I added a strip of Rose Red card stock and a More Mustard brad behind the image.

I love, love, love my Big Shot and I use it EVERY day!!!  I often wonder how I got along without it all these years. 🙂

If you want a Big Shot, this is the best time to buy it as you will receive FREE Sale-a-bration items with your purchase in addition to any hostess rewards you qualify for.  You can place your orders directly through my website or you can call or email me with your order.

Happy Stampin' !!!
