I have been stampin’ alot today. I finished my "JOY" garland with some of the remaining chipboard in the On Board Garland Greetings
I used the Hologram Highlights Embossing Powder and Encore Gold Ink on the snowflakes and star, they are so sparkly in real life. The Wide Real Red Grosgrain Ribbon and Gold Elastic Cord string the letters together. A few Gold Metallic Eyelets set with my Crop-A-Dile and it is done!! Easy Peasy to create and even easier to put together. I still have tons of chipboard pieces left so let’s see what else I can do with the chipboard!! Stay tuned. 🙂
I also got busy with my new Designer Wrapping Papers. I purchased the Blizzard and my friend Kay gave me a few feet of the Purely Holiday wrap. I wrapped a couple of boxes, made a gift bag and used a bit on a greeting card.
The Purely Pomegranate wrapping paper is on the bottom half of the card along with a couple of pieces from our Accents & Elements Hand Selected tin, the Purely Pomegranate Satin Ribbon (this stuff is so gorgeous and smooth) and the River Rock Double Stitched Ribbon finish it off.
I wrapped the box in the River Rock wrapping paper and added the Purely Pomegranate Satin Ribbon. The tag is a circle of the Purely Pomegranate wrapping paper and a circle of our Brushed Gold card stock made with the Coluzzle. I got the snowflake out of the On Board Garland Greetings and covered it with gold Encore Ink and embossed it with our Hologram Highlights Embossing Powder. The Onboard Trimmings chipboard set would also work as it has alot more snowflakes to choose from.
I created the gift bag below using the Blizzard Designer Wrapping Paper. I cut a 12×12 piece and scored it at 2" on on the bottom and 1/2 on one side, folded it together and adhered the sides with SNAIL. I added the contrasting color as a belly band and stamped a snowflake in Chocolate Chip ink on Bashful blue card stock from the Snowflake Spot stamp set and punched that out with our Scallop Punch. I punched two slots with the Rectangle Punch and tied the bag closed with our Wide Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon.
I wrapped the box with the Bashful Blue roll of wrapping paper and added a paper bow to the top. You can find the directions for making a paper bow HERE.
Well that is it for today, I will post a few other projects I have completed in the next day or so.
Until then, Happy Stampin"!!!
Cute, Cute! Loved the paper bow instructions! I’ll have to try that!
