Where do you find it?

Your inspiration that is.  I found some yesterday and just had to go with it.  My beautiful daughter's birthday is today.  I vividly remember bringing her home from the hospital and just staring at her, completely in awe of how absolutley perfect she was.  She is still perfect but she speaks now!!  At nine years old, she definitely speaks!!

Her friend dropped off this gift yesterday and I just had to try to make a card based on the design in the wrapping paper.

Here is my attempt.  Do you recognize that flower?  It is from the Loopy Flowers Decorative Strip Die and it is on the Last Chance List so it is only available through June 30th.  Click HERE to see my other Loopy Flowers Cards.

  1. very fun and simple card! I can’t seem to find inspiration in places. Maybe I’m just not looking hard enough–too much going on that I feel we’re rushing through life sometimes! Thanks for sharing.

  3. Cute card, Barb, but more importantly, Happy Birthday Jadyn! Is she really 9 already? I’m surprised you aren’t giving this thank you card to the person who sent the gift. Could be a new line… thank you cards in the design of the wrapping paper of the gift. Great job!

  8. Ahhh… happy… bubbly….girly….simple….cheery…change the message and you have a birthday or get well or thinking of you. This is just a perfect one to make up ahead and leave the message empty until it’s time you need a card for any reason you stamp it for!

  9. The jazzy punch card with the new stamp is almost ‘electric’ .. an easy masculine card. The base of it lends itself to all sorts of quick variations.
