What – I forgot to make Easter treats for my kiddos to take to school!!!
Yep, that is the story of my life, waiting until the last minute. I have been planning to make some sort of treat for my kids to take to their school friends for Easter but Easter isn't until next week right? Reality check, Spring Break starts after school today!!! It dawned on me late last night so I needed to get something done ASAP!! I looked in my stash of fabulous projects and found THIS from last Easter. I didn't have any Kit Kat's (as I ate them all) so I had to use a bag of Spring Smarties.
I whipped out nearly 70 of these babies in about 45 minutes. Nothing fancy but who can be fancy at 11 o'clock at night? I needed to get to bed. I only got four hours the night before and tonight wasn't lookin' good either. 🙂
Here is a blurry group shot, it was late and the sun wasn't out. 🙂
I used Lavender Lace card stock and ran it through my Big Shot with the Beautiful Butterflies Bigz die, I was able to cut three at a time. Then I ran each butterfly through the machine again with the Perfect Polka Dots Impressions Folder and this time I was able to run two at at time. Put two Mini Glue Dots in the middle and added the Smarties. Super Easy and Super Fast.
It is early in the morning now and I have to get the kids up and moving. Have a GREAT day!!

Wow Barb! I think I would have bagged the idea of the kids bringing treats to their friends at school. What a great idea and super fast. Thanks for showing us.
You had me cuz I was thinking you had a whole week. Lucky my kids are grown (or I’d have copied this cute idea). MJ
WOW, you’re the greatest…what an idea!!!!
