Walk in the Park – card by my daughter

Here is a card made mostly by my 7 year old daughter for her student teacher.  She absolutely adores Miss Burnside and since Miss Burnside's last day will be Friday, DD wanted to put a goodie bag togther for her.  She would be thrilled to read some comments from you, hint, hint!

This is the card:

Missb

Miss Burnside's favorite colors are yellow, pink and green so my DD picked out this sheet from the Walk in the Park DSP pack and used it as her starting point.  She used my Big Shot and the Serif Essentials Alphabet for the initial and just had to use one of my corduroy buttons (can you blame her, they are so cool!!).  I helped her with the ribbon, we used the Horizontal Slot Punch to create a little slit on the fold of the card so we could wrap the ribbon around the whole thing.

I made a name frame for Miss Burnside to display in her own classrooom and I will share that with you tomorrow!!
