Carousel Note!!!!

I started playing around with my Carousel Notes that are on page 7 in the Occasions Mini Catalog.  I used the Pick A Petal Classy Brass Template (it fits perfectly around these notes) to do the circle of piercing and to add the raised bumps on the scallop edges.  I also used a ribbon slider from the NEW Styled Silver Hodgepodge Hardware Kit and added color to it by mixing reinkers with Ruby Red reinker.  I painted it on with a toothpick. 

Here is my finished card and since my Mom doesn’t read my blog (can you imagine!!!), I can post it here.  It will be her Mother’s Day Card, I hope she likes it. 🙂

Here is another card I made with the Carousel Notes.  This time, I cut the notes into quarters and made a 4×4 card.  Used Flannel Plaid to make the background in Soft Sky.  I just ordered the Elegant Cheer set and I absolutely love it, I really needed an elegant word set and this works GREAT!!!

I used my Coluzzle to round a square of the Afternoon Tea Designer Paper so it would match.  I added some of the Poly Twill Ribbon around the top and it is done, so easy!!!
